The route from Hauhia mill to Tyllinjärvi lake is about 6 km long. Firts stop is at Salmensilta bridge , 2.5 km away, so You don´t have to go all the way to Tyllinjärvi lake if You don´t feel like.. If Yuo want, You can continue even as far as Vaalimaa.
The route starts from the Hauhia mill. The first part is very narrow, but widens soon. You can see beautiful cliffs and wildlife during paddling.
There are 31 rapids in the Vaalimaanjoki river, but only one on this route, just before Tyllinjärvi lake.
You can rent a canoe from the Hauhia mill, check rental gear. Threre´s a free parking space for Your car.
The route is easy, but still take care of Your safety.
